Hi I have an hp iPAQ 2750 I have a few problems with it at the moment 1 being
I cant open documents when I browse the network. E.g. open a word document
etc and 2 my big main problem is e-mail.
I have checked all the settings on the exchange server and made sure all the
mobile options are turned on and also checked the user accounts (mine) to
make sure I’m enabled for the mobile device function.
When I create a partnership with the pda using the active exchange function
it wont work I don’t know why I have checked to make sure all the settings
are ok and on the pda it self and it come’s up with HTTP_500 error. Which I
don’t know why and this is in the cradle and out but I can browse the network
in and out of the cradle because but when I try and open a document it won’t
let me it’s as if it doesn’t have the function to open files across the
network. I have notice when I try and connect to our main SSID wireless it
says something about “this network requires a personal certificate to
positively identify you” so then I have to connect to our other SSID which is
a bet less secure. When I create a standard partnership with the pda were I
just have a copy what’s on my pc and the duplicates to my pda everything
works ok
I know I can use pop3 but we want to be able to use this function. And the
titile of a document I was read about certificate was called Deploying
Exchange ActiveSync Certificate-Based Authentication
So any ideas ??
