Help how?

Move the file to a different directory on your ppc so sync doesn't
automatically handle it.

Manually synch the file- Remove the password, copy the file, re-password
protect it when done.

Thanks Alan Smith for your prompt reply.
May I know is this a known problem or anyway to solve it beside the method
you mentioned earlier. Or is ther any patch available.

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards

Thank you for your prompt reply.
Just to clarify, are you saying that if a password protected Excel file from
a PC sync to a pocket PC, the file will Not be password protected? And also
the same for pocket PC sync to PC.

Thank you.

Best regards

It's not a problem. It is the way it is meant to work. So no patch.

You could try the alternative spreadsheet programs to see if they suit your
needs, there are several with the namews having been posted in the past.
Planmaker, PTab , Spread byedesign , etc They do cost but are vastly
superior to the standard program. My personal choice is Planmaker and you
get a trial period to see if it will do what you want.
