There was a good guide distributed with ArcView Version 3, but that is
now obsolete. If you have the ArcView 3 install CDs, you may find an
electronic copy in the Documentation folder on the CD.

In many ways, the sample scripts distributed with ArcView 3 are a useful
guide too. They should be in your ArcView install.

Do remember that Avenue is unique to ArcView versions 2 & 3, that it is
now obsolete and that there is no easy way to translate Avenue code into
anything else.

Best wishes,

Peter

The online help in AV3.x is, to my liking, the best Avenue manual

:-) Martin
