Greetings,

After installing a brand new HP Ipaq to an IBM Thinkpad (XP PRO, Outlook
2003 , member of SBS 2003 domain) Active Sync gives the following error:
Support Code: 85010014, and will not load any Outlook data to the Ipaq.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Paul Rosenberg

Hi Paul,

From - http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/help/activesync/default.mspx

"ActiveSync reports a Synchronization Error code 85010014 because of one of
the following reasons:
- Synchronization Fails because Application Data Folder is Redirected
- Synchronization Fails because Outlook is in Offline Mode
- Synchronization Fails because of Outlook script blocking
- Synchronization Fails because ActiveSync is incorrectly registered with
Outlook"

More often then not this error have been due to Outlook script blocking.
Try disabling the script blocking feature in your anti-virus and see if it
helps solve it. If that doesn't help, then see if this msft post helps
solve your problem -
