I scheduled a TV series to be recorded some time ago but I no longer
want Windows Media Center to continue to record this particular show.
But it keeps recording it. When I individually select the pending
recordings for "Do Not Record" by right-clicking on the show, it doesn't
record, but the next time that show comes up - it wants to record it again.

How can I get it to stop recording this show?

Thanks!

David - you need to cancel the "Series" and not just individual episodes as
you have been doing.

Go to Scheduled Recordings > More > Series. Then click on the particular
Series you want to cancel from the Series List and then click on Cancel
Series.

I am having the same problem as the original message sender but I can't find
the

"Scheduled Recordings > More > Series".

Is it located in media center or somewhere else in vista?

In fact ther seems to be a real lack of good documentation on media center,
any suggestions?

Hello. To cancel recording a series, try the following in Windows Media
Center:
1. On the start screen in Windows Media Center, scroll to "TV + Movies", and
then click "recorded tv".
2. Click "view scheduled", click "Series", and then click the series for
which you want to cancel recording.
3. Click "Cancel Series", and then click "Yes" to confirm canceling the
series.

I hope this helps...

Sincerely,
