Hi,
I already have an HTPC that I built, and is doing great now, thanks to
Vista SP1. Now, I bought a laptop that came with Vista premium, and every
time I use my remote for the HTPC, the laptop also starts to run MCE. How do
I disable, or preferbaly, change freq/channel so the remote works with only
one computer.

Thanks,
Mukesh

I think you would have to physically separate the two MCE units.
Or unplug the USB cable of the IR transceiver from one of the MCE computers.

Specifically, see the "Set Remote Control ID" section

While the blog posting was made for Media Center 2005, it should still work
with Vista Media Center.
