Hi! I wanted to use the Live Favorites Sync add-in to the MSN-Toolbar and for
that I have to replace the Windows Desktop Search 2.6.5 with the MSN-Desktop
Search Version. Unfortunatly when I try to run the
MsnSearchToolbarSetup_de-de (Installer-Version 2.5.1.1119) it says that a
newer Version of Desktop Search is installed and has to be uninstalled first
- ok, but when I try to uninstall WDS 2.6.5 it says (roughly translated from
german) "The update could not be removed, because newer updates were
installed. Remove first the new updates" Great - could it possibly tell me
what new updates are bothering it?!?
I already removed all Search-filters and even ran the uninstaller with the
"/log"-option, but that was also not helpfull. Is there a switch, that I
could tell him to deinstall anyway?
Thanks!

This was the log produced by the uninstaller (the german text is translated
above):

Okay - I solved it! You just had to click the "show updates"-button and then
I could select an update to uninstall it. But why doesn't he say so?!?!
