Today I powered both up at approximately same time.
At first I opened Network Places, but couldn't "see" XP in "network places" from
computer. It looked as if always could access 9x computer from either computer.
lasted for roughly a half hour, while I looked for the problem, (including the
usual fast fixes:
momentarily pulling power from cable modem and router)

I used xplorer2lite ("alternate windows" shell viewer whatever) to view nethood,

Nothing or nothing applicable:
uploads on eh.robis.net - did not match any documents.
eh.robis.net - did not match any documents.
"uploads on" Chrome Mozilla | Firefox - did not match any documents.
(sidenote: these give *more* pages if *add* words to search!)
