mhtml format

Hi all,

We've received some spam with a link which appears to refer to a
nonexistant domain.

I'm interested to know whether this is some address obfuscation that
I'm not aware of:

Can anyone tell me why the link would be composed in this way (rather
than a straight href to )

I know that mhtml:mid// is a mime html web page archive (I presume
this is what you get if you 'save as' mht from IE and I gather it can
be used to embed images) - but I cannot nd what the number in the
curly brackets represents or
what the other bits mean

Any ideas?

Note: Clearly I do not propose to respond to the spam or follow the
link - but I'm interested tonow what it is trying to achieve - given
that the domain doesn't exist
