Dear Ari-el, Little Luke strikes me as a man of rare and impressive

I'm quite sure his ability to apply swift correction to deviants will
be appreciated by all peace loving posters.

Hummingbird may be a special case because of his antisocial outlook,
suspect mental stability, unbounded self-righteousness, and his self-
centered view of the world.  Little Luke appears to already have had
some success in creating an alternative treatment program for
Hummingbird.  Let's hope it works out.

Are you saying that I don't have the right to make copies of
my CDs or DVDs to store them away in case the original gets
errors?  Or that someone with a website can't provide the
tools I need to do so?

Dear ''.
This is the real hummingbird and if you read the thread, you will
note that *I* did not start it and I have not even contributed to
it (except this post and one other calling out another forgery).

Thus, I did not write what you are responding to.

Why no, he's saying you don't have the right to reverse engineer,
break, crack, or otherwise circumvent the measures that prevent you
from making copies of your CDs or DVDs for archival purposes, and
someone with a web site can't provide you the tools to do so. You have
every right to make those copies, but you have no right to distribute
or obtain the tools and methods necessary for you to do so.

Yes, that's the "logic" behind DRM. ;)
