When I view the task manager it displays 20.9 MBs with 5 MBs free for
storage memory. The Program memory shows 45 MBs with 10-22 MBs free
(depending on usage). I have a 1 GB minisd card installed. How can I
increase the storage memory? I've had a few issues installing programs
since not all apps let you choose where to install.

Joe, I have the 2125 also and I show similar numbers regarding memory usage.
I believe (read as I could be dead wrong) that the phone manages the Program
(where stuff runs like RAM in your computer) and Storage (where stuff stays
like a hard drive) memory for you. The memory is from the same pool, so to
speak, but the phone can designate a portion as Program and a portion as
Storage. If you install an new program and it needs more Storage it simply
takes it from Program memory.

I would be interested to know what programs have caused you trouble.

I have the same phone with the same issue. I can't record voice messages or
take pictures because there is no free space.

I wonder if purchasing a memory chip would help? There are so many
limitations on what can be stored on the chip that I fear even with the chip
and even if wav files and jpgs are stored on the chip there will not be
enough ram on the phone to ever send them via email.

I was trying to install the Good Tech software and during setup it wanted
12MBs free space. I reflashed the 2125 from the HTC site and got it to
install after that. I only have Opera mini and the clearvue suite installed
and now my storage memory is under 5 MBs. Yikes!
