How do I restore it? I tried System File Checker, but that didn't work! I
tried just copying the original from the I386 folder, but that didn't work!
I'm afraid a Windows 95/98 game I installed for my nephew overwrote the
shell32.dll file. Or, maybe Windows Update did it. What do ya think? Can ya
help me?

shell32.dll is a protected system file. The latest version, =
6.0.2900.2869 created 3/17/2006 should reside in the Windows\System32 =
and Windows\System32\dllcache folder. It looks like this version was =

You can always copy the one from the dllcache folder to the System32 =
folder.
