I have been syncing with Exchange server for months without any problem and
receiving email through Pocket Outlook. Yesterday, I could no longer sync. I
got the error "Your account does not have permission to sync with your
current settings...". I found out my network administrator encrypted our
site and I would have to check the box in my PDA settings stating "this
server requires an encrypted (ssl) connection" to start syncing again, which
I did. I still cannot sync. I am getting error code 0x80072F0D, which
states:
"The security certificate on the server is invalid. Contact your system
administrator or ISP to install a valid certificate on the server and try
again."
I saw one other posting about this error regarding consistent naming and
that does not appear to be the problem, as the certificate and server name
are both mail.mycompany.com. Do I need to somehow load a certificate on my
end (on phone/pda)?
We have no other ideas/options. Can anybody help? I have the Verizon XV6700.
