Hi
sony vaio laptop came with media centre and a shed full of software that
installs that you don't want. had to make a set of backup disks, and of
course this contains the crap. deleted from add and remove etc but if you
place a DVD in the drive that contains mixed content - up pops a window open
with, most of these are greyed out as they have been deleted........

if I reinstall it loads windows and then constantly warns you that you have
to continue the installation to make the system stable etc -- unable to stop
this.....
therefore if I get a copy of media centre, can I install it and enter my
certificate that is stuck to the laptop, thus allowing me to install just
the things that I want?

cheers
