I loaded activesync 4.1 and it was working OK, it then decided it wouldnt
sync my calendar, I could select the option without my xda in the cradle but
when placed in the cradle, if I go into options, calendar is there but there
is no check box to select. I've reverted back to 3.8 following the
instructions in this newsgroup but its still the asme. I have even done a
hard reset of my XDAIIi and its still the same. Any advice would be
appreciated as its important to be able to sync my calendar, TIA

Hi Graeme,

Have you tried running Detect & Repair feature available under the Help menu
in Outlook to scan the pst file. Additionally, you can also try running the
Scanpst utility to check for any corruption in the PST file (the file that
stores your Outlook data). Search for scanpst.exe on your computer.

You will need to run it against the .pst file. If you are unable to locate
the path of the .pst file, do the following:

1. Open Outlook.
2. Click File -> Data File Management
3. This should list all the PST files that are present. Click Open Folder
and you should find the storage path of your *.pst file.

If this doesn't help, delete and recreate the partnership --

1. Disconnect the PPC from the computer.
2. In Activesync -> File -> Delete Partnership.
3. Connect the device and follow the onscreen
instructions to setup a new partnership.

If you are not using a WM 5.0 device, it is recommended you use AS 3.8.

Graeme,

Try creating a new profile and check if you are able to sync the Calendar
successfully.
