cant Setup Active Sync on W2K Prof SP4 Client Alexander Kromat 05-05-2006

 Hi,

i have an pc on wich i canīt install active Sync 4.1 german,

it allways stop an tell, that it was not able to setup. On eventlog i have
Event ID 11708 from MSIinstaller. I installt all patches on that pc but it
dontīt help. Active Sync 3.8 runs ok, but now we have an Mobile 5 device.
The device was never connected.

I think it is an MSI problem rather an ActiveSync problem.

Yes, i installed all updates that was available in Windows Update. If there
is another important update, can you give me the KB number.
