My i-mate with Windows Mobile was syncronising perfectly until I copied my
work outlook.pst file to my home PC where I sync my i-mate. All the
folders except my inbox syncronised. The message - 'updating folder
hirearchy' momentarily appeared and then the error message that attention
was required and conflicts needed to be resolved. I have tried everything
to sort it out and failed. Does anyone have an idea or has come across
this before?

Thanks

james.

It sounds as though ActiveSync is confused on what to sync, as the
Inbox has changed. Try deleting the partnership (File -> Delete
Partnership) in ActiveSync, and then re-cradle the device and
re-establish the partnership. Note that the partnership contains
ActiveSync backups and replication data only - if you sync files, just
say "No" when it asks you if you want to delete the synchronized files
directory.

Thank you very much indeed. It worked easily and straight away.
