can't view windows media center in 1440x900 windows xp

If I try to view Windows Media Center full screen in 1440 x 900 I get a
black screen, but when I change resolution to 1280 x 1024 everything is
fine.
Please help

It is preset at 75hz and can"t be changed unless I change the resolution.
