bundle up dependent modules Ted Pedersen 07-21-2004

I am creating a CD to install my favorite Perl module on to a machine
that is not networked. Unfortunately, my favorite modules depends on
many other CPAN modules that are not on this PC. I am wondering if
there is a way to bundle up all the modules that a module depends on
(in order to make it reasonably easy to install on a machine where
network access just isn't an option).

Thanks for any tips you can offer.

Cordially,
Ted

There are 'Module::Depends' and 'Module::Depends::Intrusive' modules that
may provide the info you want. I've never used them, but they might come
with sample scripts that would dump out a dependency tree for you (that
would seem to be a good example that they might include).

You might consider the PAR module, at
