my system will not move past the blue screen displaying the above results.
safe mode does not work, last known good config does not work. the only
startup method that gets me past this is safe mode to windows recovery. from
there i have tried FIXBOOT and FIXMBR. i kep getting dumped back to the blue
screen.

i think a previously installed usb printer that has updated drivers might be
causing the problem, but i can't get past where i am to do a system restore
or rollback the drivers.

please help.

I feel your pain, believe me. Unfortunatly, it sounds like you are at that
place everyone comes to in life, the "blue screen of death". I am not certain
how important OS recovery is, but I would recommend reloading Windows from
scratch as oppossed to investing further time. If it is vital that you
retrieve any data, the simplest path to take may be a parallel install of
Windows or simply taking the HDD out and placing in another good working PC
and copying the data off that way.

I hope this helps.

Thanks

unfortunately, i am not even sure how to go about that. my system did not
come with a mce backup disk so i do not know how to go about wiping and
restarting.
