 Dear All,

Maybe this has already been brought to your attention many time so far, but
please kindly advise me on this problem that I have:

when I try to copy to/from the PC to my IPAQ's SD or CF card I get
continuous retries, when it comes to copying a bigger file (e.g. 10-100
megs). This is crazy! The file starts copying amd progress bar moves, but
then it stops and starts again from the beginning... (I couldn't see a
pattern - sometimes it stops in the middle, or at the beginning - it
differs). I tried another ipaq with the same card - same problem. Tried this
from another computer - same. Tried it from CF and from SD - same.
Eventually the file(s) gets copied, but after half a day of retries...

What's wrong?

 Hi,
I suggest getting a SD or CF card reader for the desktop and use it to copy
the file instead. ActiveSync is much slower than the reader is at copying
the file.

Have you read through the newsgroup archives to see if your problem has been
posted before? I think you will find it has.

Hi There,

There is no issue on this.

The file will be copied anyway, just that it seem to restart the copying
process.
To monitor your file being copied check the the file size using
treesize or some other utilities such as Resco File Manager or File
Explorer.
