I am looking into pocketPC phones and smartphones. One question I have is to
want extent, if any, you are able to use the voice and data features
simultaneously?

for instance:
1) can a receive a call if I'm in the middle of surfing the web?
2) If I'm using the phone as a modem (via usb cable or blue tooth DUN) can I
receive a voice call?

by 'to what extent' I mean how does it work, if it does? For example, for
both of these questions if the answer happened to be yes, would the data
connection be disconnected in order to take the call? Are all of these
things hardware dependent? software dependent? both?

I'm just starting to research so any information is welcome, especially any
links to primers/guides about smart phones and PPC phones and how to
select.. etc.. thanks.
