I am validating that a patch installed correctly, so I am checking the
version, date and size of the effected dll's. All seems ok, except one. In
the extracted patch and the MS07 artical, it is listed in the
SP1QFE\asms00\mstf\vcrtl\ and it is a newer version then I have. My
question is this;
What does asms mean?
What does the 6000 mean?
What does mstf and vcrtl mean?
should I be concerned that this file has a newer version then I have? in
fact, the file is listed twice in the MS07 articale, and the one in the
SP1QFE\ dir is fine.
