I have this old Compaq Armada 1120 (P100, 8 Mb RAM) which I want to
use for slideshows using a DOS program. As the battery is bad, the
laptop will always be used on mains power.
But after 15 minutes the screen goes dark due to the power management.

I tried several settings in the BIOS:
- power management OFF
- power management CUSTOM with screen blanking OFF
but this doesn't change the situation.

I flashed the latest BIOS available at the HP (COMPAQ) website: no
change.

Anyone having a solution for this problem?
Would there be any SW solution to simulate mouse movements...?
