Hi everyone,

I cannot get Trent Housecall Online Scanner to run on my PC.
I get the message installation failed.
I have Windows Vista, Java Run time is installed and use Firefox and MS

Can anyone help me with this.

It's called Trend, and they don't say if it is Vista compatible so I wouldn't
waste your time with it.

From the website:

Operating System:
Microsoft Windows 98SE/NT4.0,SP6a/2000,SP2/XP,SP1/2003 and Windows MCE 2005
Linux Distributions that supports libc6
Solaris 2.6 and above

Could be a number of things.

If you're experiencing an malware challenge try this:

1.Clear the (IE) temporary Internet files and the history cache.
Click 'Start' and then click 'Run'... then type (or copy/paste)
"inetcpl.cpl" (w/out quotation marks) into the box, then click the 'OK'
button.
In Internet Properties panel 'General' tab, under 'Browsing history', click
'Delete...'button, in 'Delete Browsing History' panel, click the 'Delete
all...' button then place a checkmark into the box beside 'Also delete
files and settings stored by add-ons', Click 'Yes' and exit the Internet
Properties panel by clicking the 'OK' button.

2.Clean HDD
Delete files using Disk Cleanup (if on Vista)

This is very interesting and I am sorry for the stupid question but how
does one get it to run? After I start the *.exe file nothing much seems
to happen after I click that I agree. I only see on the left side
preparations that go on forever.
