You're kidding, right? Just what are you trying to do here, you've
already proven his point.

It's not ASIC that has the problem, LOL.

I don't know who Dusty is, but FTR wasn't referencing him or myself in his
comment, Pooh. Go lick your wounds, do some serious reading. So that next
time you try to pass yourself off as someone you aren't (an IT person)
you'll be able to make the bullshit more believable; atleast at first.

Toodles, script kitty.

My code does unless you remove abs and run into the 00 80 issue that I
explained to you and demonstrated with previous source code. [g]

I've yet to see a malware sample actually meet the requirement in my codes
case (since mine has abs present) that would cause the error. otherwise, it
does read correctly; your original version without ABS did too. Remember?
Yours would until the first negative number; even if you didn't go out of
range with -32768. [g] Mine would only "break" if it encountered -32768.

I posted an easy fix for that, which I didn't bother to implement in
exevalid; because I've *never seen* a malware sample that met the requirement
to cause the issue, by converting integers to long integers (which ASIC is
okay with doing, even with the -32768 issue). [g]

Sorry Pooh, but this is another discussion you've had your hass handed to on,
despite your great effort to paint things the other way around.

I didn't? LOL! HAHAHAHAHA. Okay Pooh. I'll give you the last word on this.
Clearly facts aren't a factor here for you.

Considering you borrowed my code and had to wait for me to explain what was
happening and edited my code, you can't really say your code is better than
mine. It's all mine. lol.

You may have the thread for your trolling pleasure now. :)

Yes, I can. I just did here:

It's inefficient, actually. Takes less bytes to convert them to long
integers than it does to use asics slow file i/o and read additional bytes
as strings in the fashion you elected and then convert them to their ascii
equ to do additional math on.

Truthfully, my long integer conversion example is more efficient. It's
faster, uses less bytes, wastes less time. Generates less junk instructions
that aren't really necessary. Yours waste time, physical space, and memory
at runtime with additional file io calls and string to integer
manipulation. Typical of a script kiddie, but not that of a
programmer/coder.

Also, had you read the asic.doc file, you shouldn't directly use integer/vs
long integer in the manner you were; ASIC will generate less code in one
instance, but it takes a little longer to do the math at runtime when you
mix/match them.

a&=a&+1 is slower than:

a&=a&+1&

but, the second one will make a slightly larger executable.

Just another code optimizing share concerning ASIC for you, Pooh.

Your the one with the ego, Pooh. You can't admit that you were wrong and
broke my program when you removed abs. You couldn't admit that the program
isn't using some mystery routine, and I've seen you totally dance around
the points I brought up above.

Dustin surely efficiency isn't a factor because if you wanted the code to
be super efficient then presumably you would have written it in assembler
rather than ASIC?

FTR,

In the event someone isn't clear on the point I was trying to prove; would
you spell it out for the audience using that wordsmith gift you have? :)

Pooh Cat I wonder if Dustin was trollering you by putting up some defective
code when he knew that real coders, such as you, would see the errors and
correct him.

Did you notice how he pounced on your posts like a possessed being as soon as
you made them? That's how trolls behave...... they post some garbage then
argue like crazy when someone replies.

All this hasn't done his reputation as a super coder any good. Just saying.

So, what does that make you jackie?  Half the time you have no idea what
you're talking about and the other half of the time you're just flat out
lying.  Guess that makes you the biggest troll of all.

After all, you've shown quite clearly that you don't understand any of
this stuff.
