Problem with Symantec Antivirus 8.0 Server/Client

I have some problem with Symantec Antivirus 8.0. The System Center
can't locate the primary server(SAV Server 8.0). Symantec Antivirus
Server and System Center is installed on the same machine. And it is
the only SAV Server on the network. Anything I can do with it?

2. I have a client which seems can't connect to SAV Server 8.0. The
definition update is not up to date, and I am not able to reinstall the
SAV Client. First, the SAV Service could not start - with error no. 10
- environment is incorrect. Then, VP32.exe cannot be started when I try
to perform manual scan. I tried to use Intelligent updater and manual
definition update as I suspect the virus definition is corrupted, but
it doesn't work either. Uninstall is not possible as it prompt for
password - I supply valid password but it stated invalid. And there is
no spyware/trojan/virus on that machine.

I end up manually uninstall by editing registry and shutting down
services. But there is a DLL file refused to be erased - VPShell2.dll.
Only after few attempt removing appropriate entry in registry i then
able to get rid of it.

Anyone have a solution for my question above?
