bombarding me with "New components detected. Do you want to update?" dialogs.
I've tried humoring it a few times by replying "Yes" and the doing the mandatory
re-boot... but the dialogs keep on coming.
No reply from a message to TrendMicro support last week.
Another poster pointed me to something in TrendMicro's support DB that sort of
sounded like my situation - and involved renaming a file called
C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Internet Security 2005\lpt$vpn.113; but the problem
description was not quite the same as mine and the recommended action did not
alleviate my problem.
Anybody been here? I'm figuring it's gotta be something simple... but what?
