Hello,
I've got Norton security. Does installation it can make my computer slower?
For example, opening the web sites?
I don't know a lot about computer's work, so I solicit information. :)
Best regards
Vię

Remove anything Norton. Get good free stuff.

You will need to run the Norton Removal tool.

To install a better Anti Malware check here:

There are many other good alti-malware products.

Malwarebytes Anti Malware (MBAM) will NOT replace an anti virus like Norton AV.
It is a
supplement, not a replacement.

He will need anoter AV solution like Avira AntiVir and use MBAM for better
protection.

This is good advice.

To answer your question better can you say exactly which Norton product you
have?  There are quite a few and they vary in terms of impact on
performance.

No, your computer will be as fast as it ever was.

The problem is, it is now doing more of the things that don't directly
impact what *you* are trying to accomplish. What *you* are trying to do
will seem slower.

Yes, it will have to spend time looking at what gets downloaded,
checking various resourses, etc...

I have heard, many times, that Norton has made improvements in this area
recently.

Anyway, what's good for some may not be what's good for you. If you want
an all-in-one "solution" to your security needs, IMO Norton isn't as bad
as people seem to think. I prefer a component method over a security
suite.
