The significance of the NT in the name is that the included batch
program is designed strictly for use with the NT based versions of
Windows. I might create a KAVDOSFT version for users of Win 9X/ME.
I'd like also to include a script (or a different installer) to
auto-install a desktop icon link to the batch program to make it
easier for beginners to use.
This work started after I studied the behaviour of KAVDOS32 on
my Win 2K (with NTFS file system) and found it quite suitable. It
finds all folders and files ok (on my PC at least).
The batch program, KAVDOSNT.BAT, includes a data base updater
and scan target selections. The program is suitable for both routine
preventatative scanning of downloads, and for emergency scanning
