I just installed NAV '06 & Norton Firewall '06, but the damn things insist
on telling me that the AV is configured wrong, because I've turned off
Auto-Protect. Is there any way to hack them so that they will accept this
as a correct setup? I'd like to remove the little icon with the red 'x'
from my system tray (for this problem only !), and make the big red message
stop appearing in the lower right corner of my screen. TIA
Re: NAV Annoyance
possibly there are only a few experienced NAV users here, which could
give an answer. I read here so often negative experiences about NAV that
I did not install it but instead BitDefender Professional plus (version
9) for example. Unfortunately it is now too late for you, but next time
absolutely inquires *before* what is to be installed on your computer.
Now you could have even large problems further if you probably want
uninstalling NAV. Many NAV programs are admit for the fact that they can
be uninstalled hardly completely :-(
