v1.75 is going to be discontinued at some point in the not so distant future.
You will either have to ... use the umm, new v2 series or consider switching
to another program that didn't let the public beta test their new version.
SuperAntispyware is a really good choice; and under the hood, it's ALOT MORE
advanced than Malwarebytes v1 or v2 series could even think about being.

Can you expand on this in layman's terms?

I've always preferred MBAM over Super, but can't say exactly why, other
than routine/habit. In my experience, MBAM *seems* to have done a better
job of quickly knocking down most of the primary infections I see in my
real-world work, although I suspect SAS may do a better job with
agressive PUPs.

In any case, I can't see where it's an either/or situation -- if you
have an infected machine in front of you, no reason not to run both. The
first will of course snag the most stuff and the second a lesser amount,
no matter which one you run first.

The underlying engine... huge differences between them...Either way, v2
causes problems for alot of people. I will not install it on any client
systems; for fear it might bork one and I'd have to reload it. So given the
choice, knowing that v1.75 won't be supported much longer; it leaves me fewer
options. I won't run the new MBAM, it's too risky.

Are you talking about SAS 5.7.1026 (current version) or 6.0.1032 (beta).
(or both).

I use SAS and Mbam both.
SAS Free for scanning only.
Mbam Pro for scanning and real-time protection.

That's the current timeframe. It may be longer, it might end sooner.

I don't recommend beta's for my clients....
