Malwarebytes v2 Upgrade?

Threaded View
I received notice that Malwarebytes has released an upgrade v2 of the software.
I'm currently running v1.65 and was wondering if there were any +'S to upgrade
to v2.0.  I think I saw some notes that there might be issues with the new
version?  I'm running Win7 64bit.  What are thoughts/tips on the upgrade?

You are completely out-of-date.
Version 1.75 was released about a year ago.

I looked at the site above, but how do I determine if I have the "lifetime"
update version?  I have the Registered version, but do not want to pay $25 a
year to continue using it?

I do NOT suggest v2.00.  It was relaesed too early with too many bugs and
constructs left out.

I suggest waiting.

There are new detection constructs (which I am not at liberty to describe)
but the shortcomings of the new version do nopt warrant the upgrade - YET.

See also subject 'Malwarebytes v2.0.0 released' starting 2014-03-25 in
this newsgroup (wink, wink to OP).

I had 2.0 installed (and lost all my scheduler settings).
But based on your advice I am now back to 1.75 (pro).
(and I recreated my (now modified) scheduler settings.)

The version expected within a week seems to adjust mainly some colors.

I will wait for 2.1.

Nevertheless I think OP would be very wise to upgrade to 1.75.

v1.75, verified build. Disable product update notification in settings. Do
not update to v2.0.x yet...

It has 30+ bugs they've discovered so far, unrelated to the GUI.
