something has created files and folders with names such as >?<.%$$ and
the size of files is false (and you cannot copy, open, rename, delete or
attach them )
However avg-free,NOD nor quickheal scan did not reveal anything(did
not scan boot sector though)
Any ideas please?

While you're waiting for other solutions:

Try installing the following two free programs.
After installation, update them them and then run each one separately.

MalwareBytes AntiMalware
http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam/program/mbam-setup.exe

SuperAntispyware
http://www.superantispyware.com/superantispywarefreevspro.html

They will find and eliminate just as well as their paid versions.
You can always uninstall them later.

thanks I hope it will not just skip over those files or report
openning file error as other AV do

I've seen that exact behaviour when using a fake flash drive (i.e. one that
reports it's size as being larger then it really is.  The one I'm thinking
of reported it's size as a 32GB flash drive, but was really a 1GB drive.
The real size was determined by writing larger and larger files until the
directory became corrupted.

Have you recently accessed the file system with an alternate OS such as
a Linux boot cd?

Re: malware making files with illegal characters?

I suggest to take a visit to www.Spywarewarrior.com and take look on how to
get the computer clean.
I used Revo-uninstaller to uninstall my programms.

It was told you many times, that your "reference" is completely
outdated.
Why do you keep posting disinformation?

A mere multiplicity of files does not make it a virus.

Can you boot into Linux and deal with them? Alternate OSs may support
NTFS without having identical "reserved words" issues.
