Apparently, the latest Windows Update screwed up my NOD32 settings. I
noticed a significant slow-down (5+ minutes to open Firefox or Windows
Explorer). Looking at my Task Manager showed a lot is CPU going to
ekrn.exe. A quick Google pointed to "Run time" packers needing to be
I had definitely disabled Runtime packers a while ago.
Apparently after installing latest Windows Update Runtime packers where
I disabled them again and now my PC is running just fine.
As anyone else recently encountered this problem?
