Kudos to MS Anti-Spyware (finally) for finding Webview

Do you have a question? Post it now! No Registration Necessary.  Now with pictures!

For the first time that I can remember MS Anti-Spyware beta program found
an annoying BHO that no other program found.  Ad-aware, Hijackthis, Spy
Sweeper, Spybot and BHO Demon failed to find:

WebDir - which plants itself as webview.dll in the Winnt directory and
throws in a couple of registry items for good measure.

The MS program was able to delete it.

Here's the MS info on it:

Type: Spyware
Software that collects information, such as the websites a user visits,
without adequate consent. This may include installing without prominent
notice or running without a clear method to disable.

Threat level: High
High-risk items have a large potential for harm, such as loss of computer
control, and should be removed unless knowingly installed.

Description: WebDir is spyware implemented as a Browser Helper Object
(BHO) that modifies legitimate affiliate web sites with its own affiliate
