I have installed a 30-day trial Kaspersky antivirus. After trial term
has expired, my computer started showing the "blue screen" at the end
of every boot (stop 0000008E). I unistalled KAV, but the problem
persists. The only way I can have my computer running is by changing
the system date to the date before the trial expiration. I would
appreciate any suggestions about how I can get rid of this problem.

Try the KL Removal Tool (KAV_Registry_Clean.zip). You can get to it
and instructions for its use from this KL forum thread:
