Got some nasty stuff on my pc

I have two systems that I believe are both infected with some nasty
malware.

First I have had issuing booting into windows so I believe it has
tried to corrupt the windows folder and boot sector.

I have managed to get one of my computers back into windows. I am
having trouble getting to use any av or anti-malware program though to
sort it out.

When I try use a program like ewido or anti-malwarebytes it just loads
into the background as a service the program doesn't actually run.
When I try going to different websites such as grisoft to download the
latest avg, when I click on the link for grisoft in google it takes me
to a completely different random site. It does the same for the other
ones to like ewido, malwarebytes and anything to do with av or
anti-malware it doesn't want me to go to those sites and doesn't allow
me to.

This sounds like the internet explorer vulnerability that has
previously been discussed. However after reading the discussion in
this group I have tried using firefox instead to get to some of these
av and anti-malware sites but on my computer firefox is behaving the
same as explorer it has been compromised. I didn't even choose to
import anything from ie on purpose but it still after being installed
is already infected straight away.

With Explorer I have downloaded the critical updates from windows
update but I am still infected.

This seems to be a really nasty little bitch of malware excuse my
french.

Anyone have any tips on how to get rid of it?

Cheers,

John

Borrow a friend's uninfected computer to get several AV install
packages, copy them to a USB flash-memory stick, copy them to a
temporary folder, and install from there, and run.

But that may not be enough, you'll an external anti-malware procedure.
Some AV makers (eg, Avira) offer packages to make a rescue CD. Make one
of those. Essential IMO.
