I am using W2K and share the Internet Connection with a second PC. The
second PC is running Antivrus and Spyware stuff but not a Firewall as there
is one on the main PC that dials up (I'm still on ISDN at the moment.) Is
that configuration ok or should I have a second firewall too?

I am using Sygate Personal.

If second computer gets infected a firewall would help stop number 1
from getting infected also. I use a similar setup with software
firewalls on all the computers.

I have seen arguements that say one firewall on the gateway will
protet all the connected computers but I have never believed this

You are using ICS with a software firewall on No1 Pooter? but not on
No2. I would install another Sygate firewall on number 2. Bear in mind
its not only about what is trying to get into your machine it is
equally about what is allowed out.

I ran ICS for some time but always with a firewall on both machines
(not windows firewall).

With an ISDN connection you are probably a bit better off than on BBd
but still put another firewall on eh, or at least install an app like
System Security Monitor to keep an eye on things.
