Is that right Dustin? You were a volunteer at MBAM? ...as in not a paid
employee?

Are you stupid enough to believe Ray?

Nevrmind, it was a rhetorical question.

Do you hear that? That's the sound of your efforts to demonstrate that I'm
evil taking a dive, right into the runway pavement.

Thanks for becoming so frustrated that you've resorted to making things up
and threatening to turn people into the RIAA.

Again, how are you coming along with the RIAA threat you promised me last
time? How about the TN state police? Didn't you promise them you'd post
the contents of the email you sent them if they didn't do something about
me? Well, post that email because.. uhh, they haven't done anything about
me. Make good on your threat, my little groupie stalker.

Don't tempt fate Dustin! The Anon might take you up on your taunts and then
what would you do if the RIAA came round to visit you .... and then
requisition Graham's backups where you and IHH stored your pirated stuff.

Hi Jax.

Just reminding the anonymous coward about his riaa/tn state police emails.
He threatened them that he'd post it if they didn't do as he told them to
do. Well, I'm still here and it's been months. He should go ahead and make
good on his threat, I think.

You seem to have a basic misunderstanding (surprise surprise) of how
things work in the online world, Jax.

is IHH supposed to be some new insulting thing? [g]

Bump.

Still waiting to see a copy of the email you sent to the TN state
police. You threatened them that you'd publically disclose it if they
didn't do something pronto. That was months ago. I think you should make
good on your cowardly threat now and post it. :)

Have you heard back from the riaa yet? Todays the day, weather
permitting. :)

That's actually incorrect, Bear. I've mentioned my salary previously; and
you even responded in that thread.

I was a paid malware researcher.

I thought not, but then again the doubt was raised. I'll accept your
answer. You never lie do you?

MalwareBytes' volunteers are relegated to MalwareBytes' forum Honourary
Members, Experts, Trusted Advisers and other forum groups (former employees
excluded).  Volunteers are not privy to the structure of the MBAM signature
database nor its many constructs and are NEVER given the capability to
create signatures for the MBAM product.

Dustin was an paid employee as a Malware Researcher.  He was not employed as
a product coder.  He was hired because of his coding ability as shown by his
creation of BugHunter and by his relevant overarching computer malware
knowledge.

EoD...you don't get to say. Coding knowledge? What coding knowledge does
he have. Has he ever had any experience as a coder for a reputable
company?

Dustin is self-taught.

This is his own personal 'baby': http://bughunter.it-mate.co.uk

It's out of date now - but I have tried and tested it. It works!

I'm confident (fairly!) that you are not inferring that Malwarebytes is
other than a reputable company!  After all, David H. Lipman was ALSO
briefly employed by them! I do wish he wouldn't use EOD - it makes it
seem like he is in charge! ;-)

BugHunter was a good tool in it's day though it relied on other peoples
databases if I understood how it worked correctly.

He wasn't a coder for Malwarebytes per David's statements. Dustin touts
his coding skills, yet what codes bases does he know? What job has he
ever had with a reputable company as a coder and what code base(s) did
he work with?

Then I think you *mis*understood, Bear! [g]

AFAICR all samples were collected *personally* by Dustin. Is essence,
that's why he couldn't maintain currency. No doubt he can clarify matters.

Dustin will have to tell you that. Apart from the electrical contracting
in which he's now engaged he's only ever mentioned working for
Malwarebytes and for a small local computer shop (for 10 years or so). I
most certainly do not doubt his computing skills - he's so much like my
younger son was (in as far as having to know exactly *how* everything
worked!).

How would you judge? You're self admittedly not a programmer. What job
has you ever had with a reputable company (drug running for the
Colombians doesn't count)?

Did Barry Seal know you were a shyster when you sold him out?

Just saying!

You don't understand, then. BugHunter always used my own database, never
anyone elses. It has it's own engine that can only process the database
intended for it.

What do you mean by code base? What languages do you know Jax? WHat coding
experience do you have, Jax?
