Can anyone here confirm that msfn.org is down?

I get different DNS results for www.msfn.org on different PC's, but the
results are generally the same - the website is down.

Is it down for everyone?

Is there a backup site (or newsgroup) where people generally congregate
or talk about msfn.org when it goes down?

Yea, very funny.  I knew someone was going to do that.

No, that method won't work.

Did you even try that site before you answered?

There is an operational web-server at msfn.org.  I wanted to verify that
it's having issues.

And different DNS servers are giving different results...

    www.msfn.org

The first time I tried, it said down. The second time, it said
up. So I went to the site, and got a lot of script errors.

    Now I get:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in
/home/msfnorg/public_html/board/ips_kernel/classDbMysql.php on line
1082

(less script errors). So someone is messing around there.
Maybe hacking in, maybe trying to fix it.

Yes, it's the first thing I try.

Our government blocks a lot of stuff, so I check with the
above site to see if it's blocked or really down.

I meant if you tried msfn.org before you answered.

You realize, the guy your responding to thinks win9x is better from a
security standpoint than any NT based OS, right?

:)

Don't waste too much of your time.

LOL! I didn't. Nobody has said that.

VBS/Irok.Trojan.Worm Irok is a Microsoft Outlook e-mail spreading worm that
also exhibits destructive viral behavior. The worm arrives in an e-mail
with the subject line: "I thought you might like to see this." The body of
the e-mail reads: "I thought you might like this. I got it from paramount
pictures website. It's a startrek screen saver." The e-mail has an
executable file called Irok.exe attached to it, but with no icon displayed.
When the attached file is run, it displays a flying star field simulation.
In the background, it copies itself to C:\Windows\System directory. The
worm also creates a 862 byte long file called Irokrun.vbs in C:\Windows
\Start Menu\Startup and another file called WinRDE.DLL in C:\Windows
\System. The worm tries to delete signature or checksum files of various
anti-virus products in an effort to stop detection and removal and infects
other executable files. The viral component of the worm is a 16bit DOS
virus, but it will infect all executable files regardless of their
platform.

:) thats win3x, dos, win9x, NT (upto and including the new windows 8.1)

just educating you, stupid.

me names? Just wondering!  :)

I didn't call you any names, stupid. I simply stated another fact. You
*are* stupid. You laughed and made a bogus claim. I *never* said my viruses
only ran on windows 9x. They were not native PE executables. They were
designed literally to run on anything from 8086 cpu upto the latest and
greatest ones at the time. Thanks to the method of infection and style all
unique to MY viruses, they are cross platform. Very cross platform.

That's right, I'm the only virus author to have ever written (aside from
one other author who wrote one based on my design and gave me credit for
the discovery of the method) a true multi platform virus that required no
customization to run on any platform it encountered.

Various people have tried to downplay what I accomplished but, from a
technical aspect, what I accomplished was no small feat. NO virus's written
since then had such cross platform goals in mine. NOT A SINGLE ONE. All of
my viruses are just as dangerous to any dos/win(whatever) machine today as
they were when written. Many other viruses written before or after mine
couldn't take that title, not even today.

Some avers and users alike tried to downplay what it is I actually pulled
off, but it doesn't matter. My work was 100% original. I didn't read
somebody elses "tutorial" to learn how to code one. I did it completely on
my own. Completely. I'm a hell of alot smarter than some losers like you
want to give me credit for. When I tell you and other idiots I encounter
that you under estimate me, you really do. FEW! other virus writers/hackers
could ever claim to have developed something unique on their own without
help from others. But! I can. Systems I've hacked in the past, I did on my
own with my own tools. MY own tools. My work, my research. No help from an
outsider needed.

Btw, that's not bragging either, everything I just wrote is a fact. Like it
or not, like me or not, it's all a fact.

Laugh that, stupid.

For the record, I set the followup to apse so that others could enjoy your
stupidity on display as much I have. I wouldn't want them to feel left out
of the entertainment you provide in this discussion. Especially since you
get off on sliming people. Tit for tat, stupid. You may chalk this up as
another situation where I handed you your ass, with ease.

Your techs have anything to say? Still think I couldn't 0wn them if I
wanted? I have NO doubts in my abilities. What little you've seen of my
work is nothing. :) I am retired, as I've said. Irok is the last virus I
ever wrote; but you will learn to show me the respect I more than earned.

You've never met someone like me, Jax. Old school, stupid. It's way beyond
time you learned that concept. I'm just the asshole to teach you, too.
