In the reviews I have seen it generally rates higher than AVG, but not quite
as good as any of the paid programs.  Here's one test result.  I would look
for more before making up your mind.

It's been rated very good for a freebie. Since I've had a few false
positives I assume it's heuristic scan is maybe more aggressive than
some others, but that has three levels of user selection or none.
Nothing is 100% and there will never be a consensus, if there were we
would all be using the same product. I use it at highest heuristic
setting and am happy.
