AVG Subscribers Heed

If you have the bought version of AVG 2012, you might want to let it
expire and then download the new AVG 2013 to take a look at it first.
The new interface absolutely SUCKS!  They also have a couple of toolbars
they try to get you to download.  I didn't.  I don't care how helpful
they're supposed to be. They also have "firewall" and another setting or
two in options that really aren't options but other separate programs
they want you to buy.

I'll  say again, the interface is new and a pain in the ass to use.

If this outfit keeps making *improvements*, next year I'll dump them as
I did Kaspersky, Avira (a real frustrating stinker) and Avast.

Just thought I'd try to be helpful.

as time goes by they all seem to add crap to their updates. Their way of
getting a few more $$$. I've been using MSE for quite a while now with no
problems or extra garbage hanging on to it

Version 6 ruled. Then it started getting bloat, and later
became spyware. They sold out, IMHO

AVG has been a bit iffy for about four years now, the paid version even more
so than the free one.
