Any Sophos Users Out There?

Hi all

Our IT support company are recommending that we move from McAfee to Sophos.
Similar price per seat - but they seem to consider it a marked improvement.
McAfee does seem to have become "heavier" over the years, affecting
processing while updating.
Anyone got any constructive comments to make?
How easy is Sophos to use and administer?
Can it be set up to download the updates to a server and distribute from
there (as with McAfee)?

TIA

Phil

Yes, on some PCs, but mostly 8.5i.
Installed 8.7i on a Dell laptop on Friday and the memory/rootkit scan caused
BSOD - a known issue with some drivers apparently.
Trying to get some user input on the comparative merits of Sophos as an
alternative to McAfee - particularly in a corporate environment.

Well there are features such as Buffer Overflow protection and HIPS I don't
think you'll
find in Sophos nor management like ePO.

Hi,

We have just about Sophos everything at work.  I find it easy to use
and all but I am not so sure it catches alot.  I like the admin panel
and all and I do think they have some nice options.
