Hi,
I am now using Windows 7 and having problems with Ad-Aware Internet
Security being turned off randomly.  I like the program/have used it
with previous versions of Windows with great success.  Now I am afraid
I have a compatibility problem and am not successful finding support
from the OS or Lavasoft.  Like that's new, eh?  Does anyone have any
place they can point me for help.

I know, I'm asking for spoon feeding.  :<{  Normally I do my own
research, but have come up empty.

Thanks

Dan

It would *have* to be taken up with the Lavasoft support people,
especially if they advertised compatibility with that OS.

Did you abandon this thread in favor of the other one? Really, learning
to crosspost would be a good thing. Just make sure all groups are
relevant to the topic at hand.

Have not been able to get a response from Lavasoft and for some reason
am unable to finish registering for their support forums.  I have
never had a problem getting in touch with support for products like I
have had with Lavasoft!  If you have a way for me to get to Lavasoft
support I would appreciate hearing it.

Why would I abandon a thread?  I dislike crossposting because it would
spread the drivel it attracted in the other group.  There's really no
point to crossposting crap.  If I were to get a reply that helped I
would post in both groups and also in other places I hang around.  I,
unlike some, do know how to post in multiple groups when useful info
comes up.

Thanks

Dan

Of course, *you* are the one who knows better than everybody else.

What did David tell you?
"I gave you already an answer in the other thread"
(of course that was in the other thread and of course you did not post
his answer in the other thread, because that would be driveling, etc.)

You are funny.

These two groups are essentially the same, makes multiposting to both a
more obvious waste.

Anyway, sorry their support sucks. In my view, support is everything -
an antivirus (I just read that their "plus" version has antivirus)
without support can be worse than useless. Antivirus is perfectly placed
for a DOS attack (bad signal on the umbilical cord). Still, I feel that
you are stuck with trying to contact them as your only course of action.

Nearly everyone else with experience feels exactly the opposite.

..or even single-posting crap. Few people like crap.

..thus wasting more than twice the number of electrons and storage space
from a single crossposted response.

Evidence would certainly indicate otherwise.

Do you really need any other reason?"
