Are there any work arounds - I'm hoping not to buy a new mobo!

Re: *** Please help - blessed pc
The windows XP CD is bootable.
His problem is that he has a SATA drive controller that needs a driver for a
sata Hard derive. He could try putting the driver on a cd and see if he the
WINXP CD install will see it on his CD drive
then again I just noticed he has an NF4 motherboard so he doesn't need to
add a driver so long as he uses the NF4 SATA ports in IDE (single drive)
mode. Windows XP has no problem installing that way
It's not a hard mistake for an NF4 rookie to make. I think I know someone
;-) who made this same mistake the first time he had an NF4 board. In his
;-) case he just used the floppy and installed on the Si3114 ports
