Overclocking the A64 is a bit different than my previous experience. I
guess it has to to with Hyper-transport.
I've got an A64 2800+ on a Chaintech VNF30250(nforce3) with 512M PC3700.
When I first set this up I was able to run the ram at 218x9 FSB tops(1960?)
starting from 200. With subsequnt BIOS's I can't set the FSB starting point
at 200.Instead it starts at 166. So, now I've got FSB at 240x9,HTT x3 and at
boot up it shows 333 ram running at 400. The reported CPU speed is 2170. Can
someone explain this?Thanks
