high density ram?

I just went to ebay to buy some ram and notcied one saying the ram module is
high density and therefore not compatiable with asus motherboards. What does
high density mean? Should I be careful about which type of PC3200 184pin
dimm I buy? I have the Asus A8N-sli and I can remeber it not working with a
double sided kingmax module last year?

What memory do I have to be wary off?

Re: high density ram?

Sorry for another post. Most of the cheap branded memory modules I see are
CL3. I have cl2.5 in my computer at the moment. I'm after a cheap 1GB pc3200
2.5cl module! Anyone know where I can get one?

Many thanks

Your motherboard is new enough that it should not have problems with High
density ram.Kinda surprised it wouldn't work with Kingston, but that can
Most DDR ram is high density now. What are the specs and the name of the
ram you have now? Those might be on a sticker on the ram. If you can find
that, get an identical module.Or as close as possible
