Hi everyone, i was wondering if someone would be able to make some
suggestions as to which heatsink i should buy for my barton 2600+. It's
currently running at 11x200 so 2200mhz default voltage.

The problem is that i can increase my fsb up to about 221 without problems
until my tem gets too high. i'm currently running the standard amd heatsink
that came with the cpu. i'm looking for something that is under 50 dollars
or so that would allow me to overclock higher. I leave the side of my case
off, i'm using a fairly large case and i'm always in the case so why not
just leave it off :)

I was really looking into the thermalright sp-97 vs si-97. but i'm reaching
out for a little help. :)

Thanks in advance.

Cheap, quiet, and good. Lowspeed fan can be replaced if you want more
cooling power. Shouldn't need it. $7.99.

A little better. You'll also need a fan.

Thermalright makes some very good coolers, argueably the best, but most
people don't need cooling power anywhere close to this. The TR2-M3 (or -M1
[has leds]) are the absolute best coolers around under $20, and better
than a lot that cost more. there's probably lots of people in this group
using them, ask what they think or look at the reviews for the -M1 on
newegg,com Read reviews here;

Then buy this one for $5.99 if you can live without the leds on the
fan. The lights are the only difference.:-)
