I'm just wondering what is the highest spec AMD processor I can use with
this motherboard? I think it's FSB is limited to 333MHz and obviously it
only supports up to the 32 bit processors such as the XP.
I'd like to get some more life out of this board before I splash some cash
on an upgrade!

No. AMD mobile processors are merely better versions of their
desktop counterparts. They found that these chips can perform at
the same speed but lower voltage, and hence produce less heat.
They do run on slower FSBs, but same clock speed, and they fit in
the same socket A socket. People love them for overclocking
because they are hand picked as the most stable. You don't need
to overclock however, just calculate the desired speed of the
processor, divide by the FSB and that will be your multiplier.
